Doncaster Shoppingtown Haul

On Wednesday I went to Doncaster Shoppingtown for some shopping (obviously). I met up with my friend Steph who travelled out from the city on a couple of buses - yay, pretty awesome of her! In May when I headed to Chadstone, I ended up so overwhelmed with the variety of shops that I didn't go everywhere I had planned to. This time I made a list so I couldn't forget anything. :)

I thought I would share with you, everything that I purchased. Reviews will come as soon as I start to use the products (and form opinions).

MAC:

I had been eyeing off some of the items from the Heavenly Creatures collection on the MAC website. I was glad I wanted til a visit to the counter. What I had thought I wanted to buy once looking at it I didn't - it was way too glittery. So I picked up:
  • Mineralize Skin Finish in Star Wonder
  • Lustre Lipstick in Cut a Caper

Chanel:

No shopping trip is complete without a visit to a Chanel counter. I had been eyeing off two lipsticks. One which I used the Myer gift card Steph had given me for my birthday to purchase (yay). I also fell in love with the new foundation. I also found out that there is two new Illusion D'Ombres released. Sadly they were both sold out at Doncaster, I picked up one at another Myer though. Is it bad when the woman working the counter recognises you from when you have shopped at another Myer? My Mum thinks it is, she said I must be buying too much Chanel. I do not agree. I purchased:
  • Vitalumiere Aqua Cream Compact in 22 Beige Rose
  • Illusion D'Ombre in 88 Abstraction
  • Rouge Coco Shine in 447 En Vogue
  • Rouge Coco in 117 Magnolia

Kit:

My first time shopping at Kit. It's a nice shop with a good variety of products but I wish they had more staff on. I had to wait quite some time to be served. I purchased:
  • Kit: Futuristic Fever Nail Polish (4 Mini Polishes)
  • Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker

Glasshouse Fragrances:

I used to really love candles but whilst at University (living on Res) I could not burn candles so I lost interest. These smell amazing. Everyone in my house loves this candle.
  • Bordeaux - Vanilla Noir

OPI:

I only picked up one polish from the Vintage Minnie Mouse collection. I hate the Australian retail price - it is so high. This polish has pink glitter hearts - so cute.
  • Nothin' Mousie 'Bout It

Laura Mercier:

I have been eyeing off these Laura Mercier products since the price reduction earlier this year. I didn't find a counter at Chadstone (as I said earlier I was overwhelmed) so it made my list for Doncaster. No one was working the counter so I had to get the woman at the Bobbi Brown counter to serve me. It would be an understatement to say she wasn't pleased about it.
  • Foundation Primer - Hydrating
  • Tinted Moisturiser SPF20 in Porcelain
  • Silk Creme Foundation in Rose Ivory

Bobbi Brown:

My friend and I were disgusted by the service at Bobbi Brown in David Jones. The woman ignored us and fiddled with paperwork for around 10 minutes until I interrupted her to purchase the lipstick. She really did not want to be bothered to do it though.
  • Creamy Lip Color in 32 Coral Pink

REN:

I had originally intended to purchase Aesop as my new skincare but then the woman (whose name I cannot remember) who served me at Mecca Cosmetica was so helpful I decided to buy my skincare there. REN skincare has bio extracts, does not test on animals or have any of those nasty ingredients like petrochemicals, parabens or sulphates among some. My new skincare is:
  • Ultra Moisture Cleansing Milk
  • Tonic Moisture Mist'
  • Max Moisture Concentrate
  • Ultra Moisture Day Cream

Mecca Cosmetica:

I really love shopping at Mecca, both times I have had exceptional service. So much so that I ended up spending more than I intended both times. I recommend shopping at Mecca, it is always such a pleasant experience. I also wanted a nude eyeliner but sadly it was out of stock. :(
  • Stila Convertible Color in Gerbera
  • Nars Bronzing Powder in Laguna
  • Nars Larger Than Life Long-Wear Eyeliner in Via Veneto
  • Nars Lipstick in Niagara

Lush:

Gosh, Lush smells amazing! I have been wanting to go to a store for ages, I forgot to go at Chadstone and almost did again but didn't thanks to my list. I only picked up a few things - I wasn't sure what to try.
  • It's Raining Men Shower Gel
  • Whoosh Jelly
  • Mint Julips Lip Scrub
  • Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter
  • Oatfix Face Mask

Priceline & Chemist Warehouse:

The whole time I was in Melbourne I was on the hunt for the five Maybelline Color Tattoos that I wanted. It took around 6 stores before I managed to get them all. I was committed to my task. I also picked up a couple of other things including some Baby Lips that adjust color to your lips and a lipstick sealer.
  • Maybelline Color Tattoo in
    • 05 Too Cool
    • 15 Audacious Asphalt
    • 25 Bad to the Bronze
    • 35 Tough as Taupe
    • 45 Bold Gold
  • Essence Stay All Day Long Lasting Eyeshadow in 01 Coppy Right
  • Lipcote Lipstick Sealer
  • Baby Lips Pink Glow Mixed Berry Lip Balm in
    • Baby Pink
    • Pink Blast

So there is my haul! I really need to start behaving myself with my spending on cosmetics. My current makeup storage is full and my overflow box is overflowing. I had a heap of fun though especially shopping with a friend, much better than by myself. This haul also crosses a lot of things off my wish list.

Nails - Kiss Nail Dress & Other...

These nail stickers by Kiss Nail Dress have been sitting there tempting me to use them since I received them in my June BellaBox. I wanted to wait for some type of special occasion and since I was going away for a couple of nights I decided that it was the perfect time to use them.

They are similar to the Sally Hansen Nail Strips. However I found them a little more complicated to apply. They are thicker than the Sally Hansen ones so I found I could not file them down, I had to cut them to nail length. The design also made it difficult, the jewelled effect makes them uneven. I applied them yesterday evening. I however like that these do not have a nail polish scent.

This design is called Peplum and I LOVE them. Black base with a jewelled look. They look funky and cool, so pretty and quite eye catching. I received so many compliments and comments when wearing these.

I removed these after around 5 days. Not because they were looking bad or needed to be removed. I was just getting sick of them. I don't like the same polish on my nails for too long. They removed super easily, just slowly peel them off. No mess, no fuss. I would definitely try these again in the future for a special occasion.

Anyway I am now home from my quick trip to Melbourne. I saw my cousins baby and OMG he is so adorable. I want a baby! I always thought I didn't really want children but after seeing and cuddling Chase. I want kids :). I also managed a heap of shopping at Doncaster with my friend Steph (hehe yes we have the same name).

Here is a preview of posts to come:

Have you tried the Kiss Nail Dress stickers before? What do you think?

In My Travel Make Up Bag...

Tomorrow I am going down to Melbourne for a couple of nights. Last Wednesday my cousin had her baby, after around a 40 hour labour and then a cesarean, Chase made his world debut. I cannot wait to meet him, he looks so cute and cuddly in the photos family have sent. He is the first baby in the family since I was born, so it is all very exciting.

Whilst in Melbourne, I will of course fit in some shopping. On Wednesday morning I am meeting with one of my friends at Doncaster Westfield for a little retail therapy. I am super excited, I already have a shopping list of things I want to check out. I am really looking forward to catching up with my friend too, I don't see her enough after we finished school.

I thought I would share with you the contents of my make up bag that I am taking with me. The bag itself is just one that came with a Lancome GWP. I personally find it very hard to pack make up for a trip. I am not know for travelling light! I tried to pack minimally, I am not sure I succeeded.

Face Products:

Benefit - "That Gal" Primer
Just a sample I have lying around, makes it a nice size for travel. It's a nice primer, I have used up a full size previously.

Chanel - Vitalumiere Aqua in BR10 Beige Rose Pastel
This is my favourite foundation at the moment. I love the finish and how easy it is to apply. I also find it lasts all day.

MAC - Minealize Skinfinish Natural in Light
Love how this sets my foundation but doesn't take away the dewiness or make my face look powdery.

YSL - Touche Eclat in 2
I have a new found love for this. It really can highlight and brighten the face.

Bobbi Brown - Creamy Concealer Kit in Ivory
This is amazing for under the eyes and if any pesky pimples pop up I can use this on them too.

Bobbi Brown - Corrector in Light Bisque
The dark circles under my eyes require this a lot lately. This neutralises the blue/purple tones and really disguises my dark circles.

Illamasqua Powder Blush in Lover
I am loving this blush, it is a beautiful apricot colour and applies beautifully.

MAC Powder Blush in Fleur Power
I had to limit myself to only two blushes. So I decided to include a more pinky toned one. This is a beautiful colour and applies easily.

Eye Products:

Urban Decay - Naked 2 Palette (review here)
I found it really hard to decide between both Naked palettes. Naked 2 wins because I feel it has more travel friendly packaging.

Shu Uemura - Eyelash Curler
I cannot live without an eyelash curler at the moment. It makes such a difference. The Shu Uemura one deserves the hype it recieves.

Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion
Another mini product. Primer is essential to help eye shadows stay all day.

Maybelline - Great Lash Mascara in Clear
I use this to tame my sometimes wild brows. It seems to work.

Guerlain - Noir G Mascara in 01 Noir
Another mini product. This mascara is amazing! I am in love with it. It gives me so many long beautiful lashes.

Chanel - Illusion Dombre in 82 Emerveille & 83 Illusoire (review here)
I LOVE these shadows for a quick eye look. I can't travel without at least one, so I am taking two.

Giorgio Armani - Eyes to Kill in 8 Champagne (review here)
Really beautiful shadow that is easy to use. Perfect for a quick eye makeup.

Benefit - Instant Brow Pencil in Medium
I don't do a lot with my brows but sometimes the outer half need a little filling in. I think I may get my brows done at the Benefit counter on Wednesday.

Revlon - Kohl Eyeliner in 01 Black Truffle
This is a really good liner, soft and easy to apply but long wearing.

Lip Products:

Chanel - Rouge Coco Shine in 69 Flirt (review here)
Such a pretty lipstick that I find myself reaching for often. I have to take it with me.

YSL - Rouge Volupte Perle in 107 Impetuous Beige (review here)
I need a nude lipstick and this was calling to me.

Revlon - Lip Butter in 090 Sweet Tart (review here)
I have to take a bright pink and I love the moisturising feeling of the lip butters.

Nars - Lip Gloss in Chihuahua
I have to have options, so a gloss is essential. This is my current favourite.

So there is the contents of my make up bag. I think I did pretty well, you should see how much I took last time I went away. It was a massive make up beauty case full to the brim! I have tried to take products that I like, know I will use and that work.

Toiletries wise I will mainly be taking sample sizes, I am planning on buying new skincare when I am away. I am thinking Aesop this time. Travel is a good time to use up some of my samples.

What do you take away with you? More or less than I?

Lust Have It - July 2012

July's Lust Have It pack finally arrived in my letter box this morning. I know some people are still waiting. Lust Have It started shipping later than normal this month. There was a bit of discussion about it on both the Lust Have It FaceBook page and BeautyHeaven forums.

This month I received the 'Fun & Flirty' pack. Most notably is the orange bag - it is bright, almost fluro! I also noticed that this months box is not overly full. I apologise in advance, I realised as uploading this that my photos are shocking, I will do better next time.

July's pack contains:

Tigi Shine Junkie Lip Gloss in Java - $16.95 10.5g
Great to see a makeup item and full size at that. The shade Java is a nude brown. Not really my style (I am a bright lips kinda girl).

Pure Fiji Hydrating Body Lotion in Orange Blossom - $29.95 350ml
The size is not listed but I think it is around a 50ml sample size. I love the Pure Fiji products I have tried before. It smells pretty nice too.

Matrix Deep Smoothing Shampoo - $29.00 500ml
This is a 50ml sample. I am actually excited to see this, I love trying new shampoos plus this is a perfect size for travelling.

Matrix Deep Smoothing Conditioner - $29.00 250ml
Strangely this sample is only 30ml. I use more conditioner than shampoo, again looking forward to trying this.

Avene Gentle Purifying Scrub - $38.95 50ml
A pretty small 5ml sample. I will try it though I will probably only get two uses out of it. It smells nice and is good for sensitive skin.

Avene Gentle Eye Make-up Remover - $22.95 125ml
A more generous 25ml sample size. This is quite strange, it looks more like a gel than a liquid. It is designed for sensitive skin and eyes.

I am really starting to think I have sample box fatigue. To me the most exciting thing in the box is the Matrix Shampoo and Conditioner, mainly because I am going away tomorrow for a couple of nights and it will come in handy. The other items are all pretty boring and are really similar or the same as other products received in sample boxes (either from Lust Have It or other brands).

I think I will be sticking around for one more month. August is Lust Have It's one year birthday, hopefully it is an awesome box otherwise I think I will be ending my subscription.

Are you a Lust Have It subscriber? Did you receive the same box? Or different?

BellaBox - July 2012

My July BellaBox finally arrived in the mail today. Some people received their boxes on Monday, I only got my dispatch email on Monday. My box is different from ones I have seen. This months theme is 'Essential Beauty Buys', the beauty basics everyone should have.

When I picked up this months box, the first thing I noticed was it was really heavy. I was very excited! It is not in its normal box, the larger items were loose and the smaller items were in the cute little blue bag. This months box was definitely full of products.

July BellaBox contains:

You, Me & Everybody Shady Lady Daily Face Milk full size 75ml $9.99
This is a daily face moisturiser with SPF30. Full size is great but I am unsure if I will actually use this. I have a current skincare regime.

Carmex Moisturising Lip Balm full size 10g $5.99
Lip balms are always welcome in my stash! Love Carmex too, will definitely be using this.

Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser full size 175g $13.99
This smells so nice and fresh, I think I will actually use it. I think it would be a great wake up in the morning. The way it comes out as foam is cool too.

Neutrogena Deep Clean Gentle Scrub 15ml sample
This is not listed on the information card but was in the box. It is a good size and will be handy for travel.I used to always use Neutrogena products.

Nutri-Synergy Sensitive Skin Cleanser sample 100ml - $15.95 500ml
Two cleansers in one box? A different product would have been better. It has natural ingredients which is great but not sure I will use it. Generous sample size though.

Ulta3 Nail Polish in Mulberry full size $2.00
LOVE this colour. These nail polishes are quite good quality and this shade is a perfect for dreary winter.

ELF Essentials Brow Comb and Brush $3.99
Elf brushes are quite good  though this is a pretty standard brush. These are pretty useful to have around. I saw others got different brushes.

Royal Moroccan Hair Repair Shampoo, Conditioner & Serum sachets - full size $17.95 - $29.95
I'll only get one use out of the shampoo and conditioner but I will use them. I love trying new hair products, especially since these are for dry hair. I think I will take when I go away next week to Melbourne for a couple of nights.

Givency Pi Neo 1ml sample - full size 50ml $80.00
This is included to help promote BelloBox, the male version of BellaBox. It is a male perfume sample. Also included is a information card about BelloBox.

This months box has great value. There is five full size products and then some samples as well. Pretty impressive. I like the theme of getting back to basics, I think it is important to have a good basic skincare routine. I also like the little cosmetics bag, it is the perfect size for handbags.

The only thing I don't like is getting two cleansers in the one box. I would have much preferred to get a makeup item. Some people got an Almay mascara. Though I am not complaining, my box is still pretty good. I am sure those more interested in skincare would be really happy with my box.

What did you get in this months BellaBox? Were you happy?

YSL Vernis a Levres Glossy Stain - Review

"A revolutionary new lip product! Rouge Pur Couture Vernis à Lèvres Glossy Stain combines the texture and shine of a gloss with the long-wear of a stain for a truly innovative lip product. A lightweight texture that immediately melts onto lips. Rouge Pur Couture Vernis à Lèvres Glossy Stain delivers intense glossy colour for an extremely long lasting new kind of shine. The applicator’s unique slanted tip and short soft bristles allow for flawless application with perfect precision." YSL

I was extremely excited for the release of the YSL Glossy Stains. I love having a strong colour on my lips but hate having it wear off or having to wear matte colours to get it to last. The YSL Glossy Stains are like a liquid lipstick but with the feel of a gloss and the lasting power of a stain.

What can I say? I LOVE this product. It is amazing!

12 Corail Fauve

I purchased the first one back in March. I was instantly drawn to the shade 17 Encre Rose. It is a gorgeous baby pink. I purchased a second one in May, I ummed and ahhed for ages as to which shade to purchase. I chose shade 12 Corail Fauve which is a coral red.

These are amazingly long lasting. They stay on my lips even after eating and drinking. The colour also stays glossy, it doesn't dull. The colour stays vivid and true. I also find these are comfortable to wear. They aren't overly sticky nor do they dry out my lips. I find they don't stray when on the lips, no bleeding or running.

17 Encre Rose

When I first applied these I wasn't too impressed. The colour seemed very weak and the gloss was runny. I didn't realise that there was a trick to application. I find the best way to apply is to apply one coat over the lips and then wait around 30 seconds. Apply a second coat to achieve full colour. The colour will thicken and develop on the lips. The shape of the applicator allows for a precise application of product. Which means a neat lip line.

L-R: 12 Corail Fauve, 17 Encre Rose

They are housed in the typical luxury packaging of gold and black. YSL is imprinted on the lid in red. A small 'window' allows you to see the colour and to see how much product is left. They have a nice weight to them without being heavy. The only problem I have is they seem a little bulky in size. They are definitely larger than a normal lipstick.

I cannot recommend these enough. If you like long lasting, comfortable vibrant colour on your lips. Then you need these in your life ASAP.

YSL Vernis a Levres Glossy Stains are available from YSL stockists for AU$50.00 each, 12 shades are currently available in Australia (though there is more internationally).

Have you tried these? What do you think?

Nordstrom, MAC & Sephora Haul

A couple of weeks ago Rebecca from EasyDress mentioned on Twitter that she was doing a USA order and if anyone was interested. I jumped at the chance. I have wanted to do a order from the US for ages and get it sent by a parcel forwarding company but am just unsure how it will work and how much it will end up costing me. Rebecca did all the ordering and when it arrived in Australia she sent it along to me.

See Rebecca's fab business card?

I cannot tell you how long it took me to choose these items! There were so many choices, so many lovely things and so much cheaper than Australia. A rough calculation indicates I saved around $200 by buying overseas. No wonder everyone does it!

My parcel arrived Friday morning, I was ecstatic to find it in the letterbox. Especially since my Nan had said only 15mins earlier that it looked like someone had picked something up off the ground near the letterbox and then ran off down the road. So I had a freak out thinking someone had stolen it! Our post office regularly leaves parcels on the footpath or ground near the letterbox.

Nordstrom:

From Nordstrom I ordered three items (though only two have arrived so far).

Firstly I ordered the Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel Luminous Bronzing Powder in 907 Sable Beige. This is part of the 2012 Summer collection and is so gorgeous! I played around with it today and it is quite pale which is great for my skin colour.

I also picked up another Burberry Lip Cover lipstick, since I love the one I already have so much (blogged about here). This time I chose a brighter pink in the colour No.30 Primrose Hill Pink.

I also ordered the Chanel Precision Eyelash Curler. I love my Shu Uemura Curler but have heard great things about the Chanel one so wanted to try it and it looks gorgeous.

MAC:

As I have only recently gotten into MAC I was very excited by the US prices - less than half Australian retail prices. I ordered a Powder Blush in Fleur Power which is a gorgeous colour. A Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Light that I have been wanting for ages.

I also ordered two Amplified Creme Lipsticks. I chose the shades Impassioned and Saint Germain. From what I have read about MAC lipsticks, these are two almost cult shades.

Sephora:

I only ordered two items from Sephora. A Sephora exclusive shade of the Dior Addict Extreme lipstick. It is the shade 336 Saint-Tropez and it is a gorgeous sheer coral, I LOVE already. These lipsticks are excellent - I will review them soon.

The other item I purchased is a Jack Black Intense Therapy Lip Balm in Vanilla & Lavender. I have heard lots of good things about these lip balms and I am on a quest for the best lip balm available. This seems pretty good so far. It smells nice and has sun protection.

I am a big supporter of shopping in Australia to support our economy and I do when I can. I think it is important to but I also like to save money so an occasional haul from overseas is okay in my book. The savings can be massive. I know I will order from overseas again.

Thanks heaps to Rebecca for doing the ordering and posting it to me. She is fab. Make sure you check out her blog http://www.easydress.org/ there is lots of great high end product reviews.

Have you done an order from the US? How did it go?

Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge in Calypso Coral - Review

This was a bit of an impulse buy when I was at the Bobbi Brown counter. I had heard of the Pot Rouge for Lips and Cheeks before and thought about buying one but was unsure. I have never had much luck with cream products for the cheeks, I usually end up looking like a clown (which is not a good look).

I instantly fell for the shade 2 Calypso Coral. It is a gorgeous bright coral that looks a little scary in the pan, but when blended it is so beautiful on the skin.

It applies beautifully on to the cheeks. It can be applied sheerly or strongly. I personally prefer a sheer application, it looks much more natural. Just like a natural flush. It lasts all day on the cheeks - no fading or touch up required. I find it has a slightly dewy finish but not oily or over the top.

The Pot Rouges can also be used on the lips. I tend to only use it as a blush. I find it a little drying on the lips and I don't like the texture of it on my lips. It does look really beautiful on the lips though.

They are packaged in a black round compact. Bobbi Brown is printed on the front in white. Inside has a nice sized mirror.

Heavy swatch and blended swatch

I like to apply the Pot Rouge using either a foundation brush or a stippling brush. Fingers can be used but I find it gives me a heavier application.

I love that this products is multi purpose. It can be both a blush and a lip colour. Making it a great product for the handbag or when travelling. I highly recommened these and am already planning on which colour I will purchase next. I am thinking a pink one...

The Pot Rouge retails for AU$46.00 each for 3.7g of product from Bobbi Brown counters or the Bobbi Brown website.

Do you own any Pot Rouges? What do you think? Any Bobbi Brown product suggestions?

Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill in 8 Champagne - Review

When I was at David Jones back in May for my birthday (post about it here). I decided to pick up one of these eyeshadows. I had read so many rave reviews on Temptalia that I just had to try one.

I decided on shade 8 Champagne. There were quite a few different shades that I loved the look of but, at $47.00 each I chose just to get the one. I chose Champagne because it looked like a great everyday colour that would be easy to wear.

I am not someone who can be bothered on most days to do a complicated eye look with various shadows. I like to use just one eyeshadow if I can. Yeah, I'm lazy. :)

This shadow allows me to use only one product. It is like two shadows in one. Champagne is a pinky beige metallic colour. When applied to the lid it give a multi-dimensional colour. It is a really gorgeous colour that I have gotten compliments on when wearing.

This shadow is like a cross between a cream and powder shadow. I find that it applies and blends very easily. It is also highly pigmented but can be applied lightly for sheer wash of colour or built up for stronger colour.

The most amazing thing about this shadow is its staying power. It does not budge at all. It will still look the same after 10 hours, no base needed. It doesn't crease, smudge, fade or shift whilst on the eyelid. It can also be applied wet, though I haven't tried it yet.

Applied heavily in the centre, lighter on the edges.

I am really glad I picked up this eyeshadow. It is amazing quality and so versatile. I can't wait to purchase more. Though they are pricey, you get a lot of product for the price.

The Loreal Infaillible shadows are considered dupes for the Giorgio Armani shadows. I think they are close but the Giorgio Armani shadows are multi-dimensional and the Loreal are not.

Giorgio Armani Beauty is only available from David Jones in Australia.

Have you tried these eyeshadows? What do you think?

So there is my face for the night. I am really looking forward to a good catch up with some great mates. I hope you all have a great night. :)

June Au Revoirs

Wow! It is already July. Where has the first half of the year gone? For me, it has been a pretty good year so far, not perfect but it has been good. I hope yours has been good too. :)

This month I actually managed to finish off quite a few products, much better than last months effort. There is some definate favourites in this months empties.

In June, the haircare products I finished are:
  • Moroccanoil Shampoo & Conditioner - Love this! Already reviewed here and repurchased.
  • Moroccanoil Oil Treatment - Again, I love this. Reviewed here and already repurchased a large bottle. I will be keeping this little bottle though, it will be perfect to refill for travel.
  • Loreal EverStrong Deep Replenishing Masque - Purchased this as it was on special and my hair was in shocking condition. I liked it, but probably wasn't as replenishing as I would like. Good though for the price (around $8.00) but I only got 4 uses out of it. Will purchase another mask, just not this one.

Skincare empties:
  • Bioderma Crealine H20 - Reviewed here. Already repurchased.
  • Chanel Hydra Beauty Serum - Love this, really adds moisture to my skin and makes it look more radiant. I will repurchase when I am at a Chanel counter next (hopefully in the next 2 weeks).
  • Chanel Beaute Initiale Eye Gel - Very moisturising eye cream that seems to be helping with my dark circles. I will purchase this eventually, but I have another sample of it for now.

Other empties:
  • Cutex Acetone Free Nail Polish Remover - It nail polish remover. It worked, can't say much else about it. Probably will end up repurchasing it, I just pick up what ever is available when I need to purchase it.
  • Maybelline Great Lash Mascara - This is the curved brush version. It was horrible. A very dry formula that didn't seem to do anything for my lashes. It completely dried out before I could use it up. Will not repurchase it, I only purchased it originally as it was in a set with a clear mascara (which was what I wanted).
  • Chanel No.5 Eau Premiere - This is a lighter version of the No.5 EDP. I really like it and if I didn't have an almost full 50ml bottle of the EDP I would purchase it. For now I have a couple of more samples of it. I seem to get one everytime I visit the Chanel counter.

So that is my empties for the month. Pretty good effort I think, though I would like to be finishing more makeup items. However when you have an makeup addiction it is hard to do.

What did you finish for June?
